One of the best restaurant in Toulouse for sure. Everything was great, from the friendly staff to the excellent cuisine. The wine list is top-notch, and the atmosphere delightful.

came here for lunch and had the entree+plat menu and it was so good!! a really great value too. and seemed like it’s where all the locals go. enjoy!!

We had the three course lunch. Each dish was tasty and had a little twist. Friendly and attentive service and a charming atmosphere. The value for money (26 euros for three courses) is also very good.

We visited Toulouse for a long weekend in May and Contre-Pied was by far the foodie highlight! This cosy restaurant excels in contemporary twists on classical dishes. We were a party of 5 and tried most of the menu. The highlights were the mackerel entrée and both the pancetta and pigeon mains - simply amazing! The server was extremely friendly and helpful. The kitchen was also very accommodating to a coeliac party member. A wonderful, memorable night - 5 stars all round.

A must see in Toulouse if you’re looking for exquisite food & wine at really reasonable prices served by the friendliest staff. Delicious and original pairings of ingredients, spices and tastes that make your mouth water for more!

Best restaurant experience in Toulouse! Great food and lovely wine! Primarily organic and local food and some natural wines. I went here two nights in a row, and I enjoyed the menu very much both times. I think my favorites were a starter with carrots and a main dish with tuna, but everything was so nice! And staff was very welcoming and helpful with choosing the right wine etc. My biggest recommendation! Also: They have a nice little website, and it makes it very easy to book a table.

Absolutely brilliant meal. They managed to accommodate for a group of 12 of us at last minute, and service was impeccable. Most of our group had the 5 course tasting menu, which was delicious, varied, excellently cooked, and good fun. The wine list too is banger after banger. Brilliant meal.
